I have a question, since Spencer will be gone for quite some time, what do we do with his things? He's 20yrs old and had been on his own for a few years so has accumulated a bit. He's selling as much as he can, then boxing up the rest. Are we respon…

Profile Information

About me:
Was a single mom raising 3 boys for long time (recently remarried). Really proud of my oldest son's choice. Was raised military, so I get it. Born in Biloxi, raised mostly in Ohio, now in Oregon.
I am here to support or represent my:
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Waiting to leave for Boot Camp
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
My dad is retired military (proud Grampa) so I was raised a "Military Brat." I know the positive benefits. The Military gives our kids a sense of purpose, respect and camaraderie. It turns a boy into a confident young man.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hi Nikki,
I don't know how to answer back... this is not as easy as facebook! I just got a message from Karen Gallagher dated July 15!! I was trying to find where to respond or see the comment she apparently sent me.... Thanks for your help! My son is to go to boot camp March 2010. He is really enjoying the DEP program for now, learning a lot!
