Russell
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid, Needed to learn more about it, Was proud, Said “No way!”
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
That I have to let go--its one of the hardest things I've ever had to do! He's NOT my biological child--nobody knows that better than I do--but in my heart...he is mine. I just wish the worry and loneliness would ease up!!!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

You did not say what your son is training for in GL...Mine is there too for ET/FC. I think his is longer than 9 weeks.

Thanks so much for the picture comment! PIR is such an amazing thing, isn't it? It just took my breath away.

How is your sailor? Has he adjusted well to A school?

Hi,
I haven't heard anything but I got a letter last thursday and Mallory said
battlestations are 10/1 - 10/2. Nothing like cutting is close. We will most likely be in Chicago when we get the call that she is a sailor. We have to believe that they will all do fine and pass. Where are you staying. We are at the Homewood Suites. Hope to meet you.
