From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
letting go and patience: I know he has grown up and has a life of his own and I have to let him be and patience because I don't get to see or talk to him as much as I like, especially now that he is on deployment
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hi there lady! I am so sorry I have been away from the site for so long...things have been crazy here at work ever since I got back from Norfolk and I am so tired in the evenings when I finally get home that I don't have any desire to turn on my computer. But my boss is gone the rest of this week, so things are going to be a little quieter around here so I am going to be able to try and catch up with my friends. I know school is out for you - got any plans for anything exciting this summer? Danny is coming home for 2 weeks starting July 2 and I am so excited that I can't stand the wait!!! I can't wait to cook for the boy again!!! Write back when you can, and I will talk to you soon!

Pam are you still gonna go to homecoming? My husband is NOT going to be able to do the cruise but he is going to homecoming. He will drive with me. Please let me know if you and your hubby can go so I can try and reserve another room where we are staying for you guys!!

Hi there lady! You stayin' warm up there??? I am sorry I have been so absent lately. My new job is keeping me busy from about 7 AM to 8 PM right now trying to get everything set up and running and I am so tired when I get home that the last thing I can think about is getting on the computer again! I talked to Debbie very briefly on Saturday (we were getting ready to go to my Uncle's wedding); I am pretty sure I know when you guys are gonna get to see your darling sailors and I think I will probably already be in Norfolk at that time, so we should be able to hook up and visit some. My situation is soooo stinkin' weird with Danny getting off the ship before it makes port. Once I get everything figured out, I will let you and Debbie know so that we can see what we can work out. Do you have any idea where you will be staying when you get there?

Hey Pam, you doing okay?? I haven't been on in a while. Busy. I heard from Paul on Monday. He said he tried calling on Sunday and I didn't answer my phone so he called my mom. It was 4 AM!! He's a nut. Have you heard any info??
