Hi, Pam. I understand what you ladies are saying about the navy. I 'm just having a very hard time getting used to not having him at home to discuss things with. He's the type to tell me he loves me just about everyday. He'll give me a hug and ask about my day. He's the one that reaches for bowls and pots that are too high for me to reach. He's the one that comes and lies next to me and asks me to hug him. He's the one that asks me for the Times magazine, reads it all and informs me. He is the one who invites me to breakfast, or just out to a movie I've been wanting to see when I can't find someone to go with me because its a "chick flick". He's the one that loves everything I cook no matter how bad it is, and thanks me for cooking for him. He's the one that is forever helping me with my English .He is the one that loves the "50s" music and plays it on the computer for me. My son is almost always at home when he is not at work. The only time he is not at home is when he is out with his brothers or spending the night at a friend's. Even then he calls to tell me not to worry about him, he's fine and he'll call so I can pick him up. He's not even gone and I already miss him. I'm terrified of the harm he may be subject to. I come from a big family. None has served. I married late in life.( I have a 23 year old son in college and a sixteen year old in high school.) and I wanted so much to have another son. Tried for four years to get pregnant had just about given up.Then one day I had a sonogram to search for gallstones, they found one with a heartbeat. Israel is so very special. I pray God will take care of him for me. I know BC will be very hard for him. My son does not drink nor does he do drugs. I have never had a problem with him at school nor at work.( I can't say the same about my other two sons especially my little one.) Everyone tells me how proud I should be of him. I am, I'm very proud of my beautiful son. Don't get me wrong I love all my sons very much. They are my life. I could not live without them.. They are here. They are not going anywhere. My oldest lives away from home.

Hey Pam. My son is also on the Carl Vinson. I know it is like a floating city but I will tell my son to see if he can find yours. My son's name is Tim and he is an ABAH. I think that is right. I get so confused with all the letters they have for everything. Did you say you live in Atascocita? I live in Kingwood. We should get together.
