For Travis, my son who is stationed in San Diego, and for all sailors - - past, present and future - - my BLUE CANDLE burns with a proud glow today in Clinton, Iowa!!!
That is what I am trying to find out also, have you heard anything. My sons graduation is July 31.
I will be there too - my daughter is in Div 255
My son graduates July 24th. I am sure I will be crying before they open the doors. I am tearing up as I type. I can't wait!!!!!!

What rate did they give you if you don't mind me asking.........OMG - You are THERE - ready to see your kiddo!!!!!! Blessings for a wonderful reunion. I'm tearing up just thinking about it!!!!!!
We are staying at the Residence Inn in Waukegan and it is very nice, clean, and very close to the Base...about 5 minutes away! The decor is a tiny bit dated...but vey spacious. We like it so far!!!
Congrats on your son's PIR, Nancy!!!! HooYah!!!! Please post how it was when you get back home. I have to book my hotel for July 17 PIR, and am watching for what people are liking and not liking. God bless!!!

My husband is driving thru Chicago as I type...I am on his laptop with an aircard!!!! It is not bad at all. If you have a GPS is is really easy. Tolls are a little bit of a pain in the neck...just make sure you have change with you. ...

My son just graduated 5/29 & he too is staying in GL they can go up to 50 miles but must be back each night my sons div was an honors division so they were allowed out until 9:30 Friday & Saturday & 8pm on Sunday pick up was 8am both days however ...

- I have 6 grown children and 6 grandchildren(plus another due in November!). My youngest son is in the NAVY! He has done quite well and it has been a wonderful adventure for him! It has been a little scarey for me, especially when he was in Iraq...he's my baby! But he's back and extremely happy, so I'm good!
