We are staying at the Residence Inn in Waukegan and it is very nice, clean, and very close to the Base...about 5 minutes away! The decor is a tiny bit dated...but vey spacious. We like it so far!!!

Profile Information

About me:
I have 6 grown children and 6 grandchildren(plus another due in November!). My youngest son is in the NAVY! He has done quite well and it has been a wonderful adventure for him! It has been a little scarey for me, especially when he was in Iraq...he's my baby! But he's back and extremely happy, so I'm good!

My daughter, Ashley, has been in the Navy since July 2007 and is an IT3 & my son Tim, an SH, has been in since Feb 2008 stationed on the USS Nimitz.. What is your son doing with the Navy? We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
