This is a group for moms who live in rural areas of the U.S., where mail may be a little slow, getting to an airport is an all-day ordeal, and even going to MEPS during the enlistment process is a serious trip.

Hi Pam, thanks for adding me. And thanks for your thoughtful comment. As for adding music, it's not hard. Go to playlist.com and create an account. It's free. Add the music you wish and then follow the directions to add it to your page. Copy paste the code you create into the edit section on this page and save. ANd you are good to go. Hope that helps.

Hi Kathy,

I live in Texas. Saratoga Springs is really pretty. Christopher is getting in Saratoga Springs. We will be going up for the wedding. Are both of your son's stationed on the same boat?

Thank you Pam. I'm still kind of numb. While I have planned to get to stuff around the house (you know that list). Today, I have to get the business stuff taken care of - check on my retirement, and medical benefits. The 24th will be my last day. So, I am doing all of the checking stuff. I am lucky to have a little bit of retirement, and the medical benefits. Some folks don't have that. So, I have a bit of a full day. I'll keep you posted.
How is Joshua? Did you ever get all of the ombudsman information? When you can, please let me know. My angel blessings~s
