No, not staying there. Simply in transition right now from June to August working at a clinic, then to FMTB from Aug to October. his orders then have him back at Great Lakes hospital October 15. It'll be nice to have him closer to me up in Michigan, but boy, it's going to be cold for him in that windy city! how long has your son been there?

Pat, that would be great! My son's name is Chris. He is scheduled to report to Great Lakes Naval hospital after FMTB. He LOVES it there in NC though. When his dad (my ex) was in the Marines we lived at CL for nearly 8 years! That's where Chris started school!

Hi Pat . . .Cory is thrilled with it -- I just hope he likes it when he gets there. Do dental techs typically stay on at Great Lakes? Cory has to report by 2/7/09 . . . before you know it! Happy new year to you and your family . . . all my best to Freeman to0!

That's great. I wish him a lot of luck. Matt was actually looking forward to some snow but we havent' got any yet, it has been cold so he was actually glad to get back to Florida he said. He has been a little homesick since this was a brand new base and he was completely alone when he flew back down but he is adjusting. He says Jacksonville is huge compared to GL and Pensacola.

Pat, Happy New Year. Matt is doing really well. He is out of A school and is stationed in Jacksonville FL with a helicopter squadron. He still has some more training to do. He came home on the 19th right after he graduated A school and reported to Jacksonville on the 3rd. How is Freeman doing, what is he going to be doing and is he still in A school or has he been stationed. Let me know. Take care.

I read that your Freeman is a culinary specialist? I started a culinary specialist group (my son is currently in A-school, and will head to sub school, too). I would love it if you were to join our group and give some advice. Some moms are expressing concerns...
