Profile Information

About me:
Hey! My name is Patricia - my son, Jeffrey joined the Navy. We just retired from the Army this May after 25 years of active duty - so this is a new perspective. I have two other children - one lives on his own and attends college and the "baby" is still at home for about 2 more years! I teach elementary school on an Army post. I am looking forward to getting to know other Navy Moms as I adjust to my new position! :)

Here it is Jeffrey's birthday! Ironic that so many years ago I was anxiously awaiting his arrival into this world and now here I sit anxiously awaiting another type of arrival...

Two Weeks and Two Days Down...

Well...here I sit two weeks and two days since my first born flew off to boot camp. While this wasn't his first time leaving home... as he had already moved out and went to college... this is a very different - much more permanent move out.

Hello there! He is in FL, but school doesn't start for 2-3 months. He has his phone and computer now, so we got to talk with him twice this week already.
