Our son PIR'd on 12/18 and it is a great feeling. He is on leave now and will be flying down to Corry Station right after the holidays. We have been told that the new CTN A school is roughly 6 months. He has a car and we are planning to drive it dow…
i think most of the calls came about 4 o'clock or so....
Our son will be heading to Corry Station on Jan. 2. His PIR from boot camp is 12/18. I'm interested in hearing from others what he has to look forward to.

PIR 12/18/09 Meet and Greet @ Ramada at Ramada-Waukegan
December 17, 2009 from 6pm to 8pm
The Ramada hosts a Meet 'n Greet every night before graduation and everyone is welcome to attend. It's a great opportunity to get in touch with anyone attending that week's PIR. Everyone enjoys getting together and sharing some stories and the excit…

We also did not get a call on Thanksgiving and were kind of surprised. We did, however, get a letter on Wednesday of which we were both pleased and surprised. Everything ssems fine which is all we can ask. Dec 18 will be here sooner than we think.

We booked our son's travel arrangements and emailed them per his instructions. We haven't heard much recently - hoping that is a good sign.

- Hi Alex is ship 11, div 26. I was told the same thing about traveling.Alec is supposed to call us this saturday to give us the fax and email address for the itinerary. the recruiter told me he could work up to 5 days when he is home to make up some of the time. My son sounded stressed. I think the real bootcamp started last week.
