Hi Pattie, It was wonderful to meet you and your husband this evening! What a long drive back....wheeeew..I had to take Sandy back to Louisburg, then back here.
Thank you for asking me if I would like to get together with you and yes I would love to. It's been hard here having no friends and I feel like a flake wavering back and forth over moving back to Florida.
Talk to you soon, take care, Cindy

I'll sent you an email with the directions, but YES, spouses - whoever - are welcome. My husband will be happy. LOL I'll send out an email about next Thursday for a final head count.

Looking forward to seeing/meeting you!

Hi Pattie, I live in Wake Forest, off of Graham Sherron Rd and Woodland Church. I have only been here about 3 months. I am a transplant from Orlando..and I have to tell you I miss it so bad. I moved here to live with my sister. Not the best idea...but we will see. My baby boy Terry is on the USS Theodore Roosevelt and has been deployed since Sept 9th and its killing me not to be able to see that face and get my daily hugs.
My beautiful daughter Jena still lives in Orlando.. I am going home for Christmas to see her and my other sister. My oldest boy passed away in March of 07...the very hardest thing I ever had to deal with and I am still grieving my loss.
We are planning a get together January 18th for Navy moms that live in the area...and it's a big area...much longer drives than I ever had in Orlando.
I hope you would like to join us and welcome to NavyforMoms and the NCMoms site. Please feel free to write anytime if you like.
Cindy

Hello & Welcome to N4M’s!
My name is Catherine the Admin and I want to thank you for joining us! To help you know the “Do’s and Don’ts” for the community- I wrote up a quick little ditty for you to read. So click here and read them (pretty please with a cherry on top because the rules are enforced)! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns afterwards- please don’t hesitate to contact me.
So, enjoy your time here and I'm looking forward (along with the community) to reading more about you. :D
Sincerely, Catherine

Andrew has been in dry dock since he hit the fleet. I know he is not upset with this arrangement, because he would have worked out something else...but he is frustrated with not getting to put his skills to work fulltime. He has been getting in some of his qualifications, but most of the sub quals are done while underway, which isn't supposed to happen for another 18 months, so unless he gets to be a rider on another sub, he is stuck on shore.

Dear Patti,
How are you doing? This Navy for moms is such a blessing.
I have yet to see this commercial!!! I heard this web site is even advertized in magazines.
God bless your son, he is re-enlisting. That's wonderful.
I'm still new. My daughter Kim finished A School and is now on her ship, the USS Normandy in Virginia. She did come home for two weeks. The Good byes get harder!!
I hope to hear from you again.
Take care and God bless.
