Profile Information

About me:
We have a Sailor!
I am here to support or represent my:
Casey
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Needed to learn more about it, Was proud, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
I Am The Mother Of An American Submariner
I give my complete and unwavering support to my submariner.
As my son serves the people of The United States of America, so I humbly offer up my prayers for his safety and the safety and health of those he serves besides.
I respect his choices to adhere to a strict moral code and a system of values that has preserved our country for over two centuries.
I accept that my submariner’s first duty is to his country and I understand that this sacrifice he willingly makes is what keeps our nation great.
I will never expect anything but the best from my submariner, for I know that a submariner’s heart is true and strong and that my submariner will endure.
I will never abandon my submariner, my son.
I will love him unconditionally. He will know I am there for him, even when he is alone.
I am disciplined, emotionally and mentally tough, learning to wait for phone calls, letters and emails home.
I, like my submariner, am serving my country. I stand ready to do whatever I can do to let my son, my submariner, know that I am here for him, beside him, I love him and I will pray for him and those serving with him.
I am the person who stands by this young man who has become a submariner
A Guardian of Freedom and The American Way of Life. Author Unknown (traced to WWII)
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

Hi, girlfriend! Thank you for the sweet comments. My sailor said he met your sailor. I told him to be nice to the newbie and be helpful if yours had any questions or problems. Now that the boat is back in port, Blue crew will be doing "refit" 7 days a week for 10-12 hours a day... so if your son is grumpy and hard to get ahold of, that's why. Hope your holidays are happy too -- as much as they can be without your sailor there. Hugs! k.

I heard that they had a lot of fun. But now it's back to work for our boys. Next underway is sometime in November. Just in time for the holidays as usual.
If you need anything just ask. Kaye S. has lots of info and is a wonderful uplifting person.

Welcome to USS ALABAMA, Pen! I left a longer post at that page, but if you have any questions, just holler. My son's been on the Crimson Tide for 2-1/2 years now. Hugs! k.
