Ambers PIR was 1-20 and she did not move over to corps side until 1-25. That was the end of her bc also. And by the way they only thing she did those few days was clean. She said they had to wax their compartment floor. She said they mainly sat around, of course on the floor, and talked.
She moved over on the 25th and started actual A school on the 4-1. She did not have to wait for more to come out of bc to class up because they had a very large PIR, 15 DIV, and had plenty for a class. If there is not enough for a class then they will have to wait until more students get there. But once they are over in the corps area they are allowed to have their cell phones.
You will not be able to be with him until he phases up after he passes test 3. Let him know that test 2 is hard and to study a lot for it. A lot usually fail that test.

Hi Reva~If your BF is in Corpsmen school this is how my daughters phases went:
When she first got there she was in Phase 1, which she had to stay in uniform and was not allowed off base. Had to be back in the barracks at 9:45pm on weekdays and I think 11:45pm on weekends.
They should phase up to phase 2 after they pass test 3. Which then they can wear civies and are now allowed to go off base but have to be back at the 9:45 and 11:45 as it was in phase 1.
I think, but I am not sure that they get phase 3 the last 2 weeks and the only difference is they get to leave on Friday and do not have to be back until Sunday evening.
If they have watch I know in phase 1 & 2 they have to stay by the barracks.
Now if he is in A school for something other than corpsmen their phases are different.
During that waiting period between bc and starting A school they have some classes for indoc they will be attending. They are allowed to have their cell phones but they are not allowed to have them in the school house. Make sure he does not have it on him even if it is off or on silence. Ambers class just had about 6 or 7 of them caught with them during class and were phase back down to phase 1 and now everyone has PT everyday this week because of it.

Good Morning Reva,

I'm excited too, I couldn't hardly sleep last night thinking about them.

I'm staying at the Ramada, and their phone number is: 847-244-2400, of course I don't have a room number yet. My cell phone number is: 501-282-1006, If I by chance miss a call from you... keep trying or leave a message. Sometimes, I don't hear it in my purse.

I'm thinking of doing the Italian thing right after graduation, after I check with my son of course to see what he wants to do for lunch. But, I think he'll be happy to go for Italian. So, we'll see if we can do that together if you like and we'll get things worked out. I think I found a great spot online, it looks wonderful.

You be safe on your flight into Chicago and hopefully we'll get to meet up at the meet and greet, if my family and I arrive in time. Otherwise we'll see you at graduation!! :)

Sorry, i just got your msg. It seems like I have to check 10 different places to find msgs. I am flying into Ohare on Thurs from Southern Calif. Did you want to car pool into town. I am staying at La Quinta but I can drop you off at your hotel. Yes I am planning on going to the meet and greet. My flight lands at 540pm. I saw the weather isnt supposed to very good that night, thunder storms. I would be happy to share my car with you. Let me know. Send me a direct message so I dont miss it.

of course! i couldnt miss this for the world! lol. its good to find other gf's on this site, not many people can relate to this! Im staying at the navy lodge with his parents and sister. im getting there thursday but leavin late sunday night. his parents are leaving on sat night, so ill be traveling alone, which i dont really mind. im just so excited 17 days cannot come soon enough!
