Damage control is a really awesome job, it was one of toms choices but he chose GSE gas turbine electrician/technician...

I helped a little bit with that, i am in charge of 50 electricians at a DOE lab www.bnl.gov here on Long Island

I still wouldnt jump in the long island sound or lake michigan the water is way to cold ! Has rob classed up yet>? Tom classes up Monday or tuesday he said...

I like the way you did the same pose for his picture. So tom called me from his cell phone we sent 3 packages overnight and the cell was in one of the boxes. A nice sailor helped tom carry the heavy boxes back to toms room. That nice sailor was Rob. I thought that was cool. Tom also said that he and rob and another sailor were going to go to the Gernee Mall on Friday, that is really nice to see that they are hanging out andr having fun!

it went great tom is also at GL, he knows your son but I never got to meet him, I was looking foward to meeting him.

Tom is at GL also for GSE he has almost 6 months to go, his A school starts next week

My son knows GERONIMO and Rob we got the call today, he said hes playing trumpet in the band and they practice on Saturdays he loves it!!

MY son PIR 1/15/09. I also live in IL. I think south of Mattoon. A little town called Keyesport. It is right on the Carlyle Lake. What division is Rob in? My son Tom is in div. 067

James will be going to school in Charleston SC, which is "only" 3.5 to 4 hours away from us in NE Flordai... Plan on spending a few long weekends up there, whether he likes it or not!!!

That would be us...GERONIMO!! I still get the goosebumps when I think about the call on Friday... i literally burst into tears - i was so stressed, still sitting at work at 6:00 after 50+ hours... I just kept thinking back to it all weekend long and it would put a smile on my face!

Glad our sons are training together - where is your sailor heading after BC? James is going into Nuke, and he's made himself available for either a sub or a carrier.
