About me:
Mother of a Naval Reserve recruit. He has another year in the Reserves before he can go into full time active duty. He has been assigned to the SeaBees.

My first marriage, of eleven years, was to a career Navy man. We were stationed in Scotland, Spain (where DJ was born), Sicily as well as several states here at home. My current hubby has never been in the military.

I'm also the proud Grammy of two adorable babies -- Levi - two and half, and Ayliah -- a newborn.

I live in San Antonio, TX, and love computer arts, Internet, arts and crafts, playing guitar and sewing.
I am here to support or represent my:

Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid, Needed to learn more about it, Was proud, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
That he has become even more of a man than I've ever known him to be. I see more maturity, inner strength and just a whole lot of things that will help him all areas of his life.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

Late response, and I apologize, about the photo displays on the site: This is something I can suggest to Ning, which provides the platform we use. Maybe they will include it in an update in the future!

Well for starters, I'm feeling very welcomed and thank you all for that. I am curious because I've read of some meeting in January. I don't know what meeting that is but would probably like to attend. Can somebody fill me in on that? Thanx. Toni (Rich's Mom)
