there is no magic time that the classes begin. He may have to wait on a seat at the school or it may happen very quick. I wish I could say that they begin every x number of days but that does not happen. Tell him to hang in there he is going to enter one of the most difficult but rewarding programs that the navy has to offer. He will be so challanged mentally. The program is wonderful.
I understand that he is anxious to get out of where he is and get there to start his new life but tell him to take a breath as this is just the begining of hard work he has gone from the physical to the mental just need to hurry up and wait as that is the navy way.

Have him read the blog post of my son Jake Gallagher he has written several on what the progam and the life is like in the nuke school.

I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers let me know if I can help with anything :)

Nan,
Glad to here from you again. Next week, I could meet you on Tuesday or Thursday at 4:00. That would give me time to get there from class. We are going to the Folk Festival this week-end. We will go Saturday afternoon mostly likely around diner time at the JFK Plaza, we like the Greek food that is there. My husband and took today and went Mystic for a day trip and to enjoy some Mystic Pizza. Hope you are doing well. The first few weeks were hard since letters took along time and the phone calls didn't come very often. Time went fast though and I was making reservations about four weeks after he left.

Becky,

Hi!! Sorry, I seem to not do so great about keeping track of people on this thing!! Let's see, I work every day till about 4ish , usually. Are you also in class this coming week?? We could meet at the Starbucks in Drum Hill, I work right around the corner and could walk there to meet you for a cup of coffe pretty much any day between 1:30 and 4--would something like that work for you??? If not that's fine, let me know what's good for you? Are you going to the Folk Festival thi weekend??
Nan
