Yes it was that video posted on You Tube. It was a riot!! My sailor watched it while I was on the phone with him and he laughed and laughed! They all need to let loose and have fun like that. Now my sailor wants to get a nerf gun too. He had them when he was a little boy, never thought that at age 22 he'd want one again! LOL --Susan

most of the time they get 2-3 weeks after A school but sometimes they ship them right off, depends on when his ship or sub is ready. We don't know either yet if Lee is coming home before he leaves or not.

About me:
I am a Mom of 5 and Grandma of 4. My son Scott just graduated boot camp on 2/15/09. My son Nick re-enlisted on 12/7/08. I miss them all the time. I stay home with my younger kids and grand kids most the time.

Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was concerned or afraid
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
No matter how much you miss them or worry about them. They really like what they are doing. So just take a deep breath and know this is there choice and whats ok for them is ok for me. ps. A lot of prays don't hurt either.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
