Ms. Rini,
My what a small world. Ken was almost born at Balboa Hospital. But we had gone home on leave and he was born in Texas instead!!!!! He is on the airbase. He loves it there. He is a storekeeper and is really enjoying his job. We shipped his car to him from Texas, so he has his own way to get around and he has gone down to Seattle several times. We are planning to go see him for a week in April.
Was good to hear from you. Stay in touch and have a great weekend.

Rini,
First, I love your name!!. I just joined the Washington/Oregon moms and I saw your profile. My sailor is stationed at Whibdey Island. He has been there since April. He is a storekeeper. My husband was in the Navy and we were stationed in San Diego back in the early 80's. My dad is retired Air Force, so I grew up an Air Force brat. Just wanted to say "welcome aboard" and stay in touch. Send our best wishes to Sailor David.
