About me:
I have 4 children. My 2nd daughter, Kirstyn left for bootcamp on Oct 7, 2008. She was in DIV 019. PIR 11/26/08. Now at A School in Florida. My oldest daughter, Megan is 21, engaged and a senior in Radiology School. My 3rd daughter, Madison is 16. My Son Dalton is 13.

Was concerned or afraid, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Positive comments, being sure she know how proud I am, and that I love her! It is harder than I ever expected it would be to see her go.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience

Yes we are driving and leaving in the morning. My son said he's talked with your daughter. They had the same recruiter and I believed shared stories of his recruitment comments. Hello Robin! I finally found someone after only being on here for a few hours from Iowa and Hampton! My son is in Div 19 too and was deployed on the 6th. Wow a small world. I think it would be so hard to let my little girl (age 7) go verses my son. I feel for you! Anyway I also work for ABCM so we truly have a connection to Hampton. Are you planning on driving out for the graduation next week?

I so hope you can make it, rsvp on the event page, let cathee know how many will be coming and plaese give your name and daughters last name ship name and div to cathee or me.
Its going to be very laid back and just a sports bar. Some drink some don't a nice mix of folks just hanging. If I don't have something to do, I'll chain smoke till we leave for the PIR LOL.
