Robin-just a short note tonight. Mark Fenn was in the other day at the office and said he knew you and yes you were very nice. I also know Cyrie Wortman and Susie Ladenberger. They have known me for years. Hope all is going well for Will. Hope he is ready for the time of his life!

Hi Robin,

I have to comment since we live in the Grand Valley and have strong ties to Mesa State. Our daughter used to practically live in the biology dept, Our son just entered the pipeline for NFO, recently departing for OCS, so there's a lot I could learn from you. He's probably wishing about now that it was still in Pensacola. This is our first experience with the "real" Navy. He was formerly in the USMC and they are in denial about being part of the Navy. Perhaps some day he'll brush shoulders with Will. You must be very proud of him.
For now we're just praying for him as he endures OCS. We did get a call and he doesn't sound like himself - no voice, which is quite unusual. It makes for difficult conversation. BTW, I enjoyed your photos.

Hi Robin,
My son graduated from OCS in August, left for P'cola shortly after and is just finished his 3rd week of API - then on to Corpus. Did your son go to Corpus as well and if he did, (or wherever he went) what was the turnaround time between the end of API and the beginning of Primary? Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. I have so many questions, I'm not sure where to begin.....
