Hi, my son just got to Gulf Port on April 24th. First thing he said when he called was THE HUMIDITY. We are in Oregon where we have zero humidity so he isn't used to that.

So far on this site I have only seen people from Washington. I would love to come to some of the get togethers but I am in Central Oregon and it is just too far.

Hi Ronda, sorry I haven't been back for a while, I too have a grand child and she keeps me pretty busy :) Kaelen is trying to "Phase up". He would like for me and his fiance to come down to TX and visit him when he is on liberty. We are trying to work that out :) How is "A" School going for Derek?

Hi Ronda, sorry for the delay. I just now had the opportunity to get back on N4M. M son told me his room mate is Detrick. Sorry about that. My son just started his "A" school on 01/21. He is excited that they are day classes and not night so that our schedules are more aligned.

hi Ronda....I was hoping Tom would pick Kings Bay because I love the warm weather....I used to live in Lakeland, Florida so im used to the heat. However after reasearching both Bangor, Washington and Kings Bay, Georgia it looks like Washington is alot newer and has more to offer so i think that if he gets to choose he will pick washington. Either way it doesnt matter to me as long as i am with him again. I hope your sailor is doing well!!!

Hi Ronda, I am Karen. My Son's name is Kaelen and he is at Wichita Falls, TX. He mentioned that his room-mate was also in Div 056. I will have to ask him if Derek is his room-mate :) Have you heard from Derek? Kaelen and I have texted back and forth and we have had brief conversations.

My son Fred is in Div. 061 also. Try to contact your recruiter to see if you can get your husband on his list. I'm sure they can do something. There is a meet and greet at Flanagans on Jan. 8th, 2009. We would love to meet you and your family before the PIR/graduation.

Welcome aboard!!

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.

Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!
