I haven't been on in a long time. My sailor and her new husband also a sailor will be out here for a short visit before deployment. Can't wait. They are both looking forward to their deployments.

Marie said… - Ruth, the Alderwood Mall is a very big mall in the Lynnwood area, right off of I-5. It would require a ferry crossing for you. But shooot, I'd drop the ;unch ladies in a minute to be going with you to Victoria. I haven't been there since I was a kid, but it sure seemed magical to me. I'm sure we'll have another gathering soon - this is our first and we've all expressed interest in MORE so it's likely to happen sooner rather than later. I hope we can meet up then!!

How are you doing? This Navy for moms is such a blessing.
So Kate is with the reserves, good for her. I told my daughter Kim, if she decides not to re-enlist in four years, the reserves would be a good idea to think about.
Virginia seems to be the hot spot!! HAHA!! Kim is also there, and many moms tell me the same with their children.
Kim is on the USS Normandy in Norfork, but the ship is docked. In the meantime, she's doing odd jobs.
I hope to hear from you again.

- Hey Ruth!! If you aren't busy on Saturday there is a small informal NavyMoms meet n greet at the Alderwood Mall at 1pm. I'm sure it'll be a good time and hope you can make it. BTW, you need to run, don't walk, run right on over to the WA/OR group page and say HI. There are alot of moms over there and we are plenty of good fun.

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!
