Nice! All the students here, hold or not, have duty sections and have duty days where they can't come home. It sucks but I guess it gets us ready for the inevitable deployments eh? We shall endure.
Thanks Whitney~ Ryan has duty tonight so we're home alone tonight missing our sailor :P.
CONGRATULATIONS SUE! I hope he gets better quickly - I was so worried about Talon getting sick because Ryan got a mandatory flu vaccine (the live nasal inhalation one) and the next day he was sooo sick, but it looks like we dodged that bullet.

Didn't say 6 year enlistment was due to holds but they give them 2 add'l contract years for schooling and even w/holds it rarely takes 2 years to finish school so it's not like they're getting shafted by being on hold.
Joanie - The ATMs honor all the normal ATM cards that most ATMs honor. Have him try again - maybe something was wrong with the communication between his bank and the ATM at the time.

Heather - it's hard to estimate because it changes often and there are always scuttlebutts saying it'll be longer but the trend lately has been 2.5 months for fc to class up.

Oh and they all go on hold. Hold is just the term for a sailor waiting on a spot in the class to open up. They pretty much go on hold between each class. Indoc - hold - SCC - hold - ATT - hold - A - hold - orders - C.

- From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
- Everyone always thinks they know the answer when in fact there can be multiple answers to the same question depending on an individual circumstance. If only everyone could grasp this concept lol.
- Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
- It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

- Hi Congratulations on your beautiful baby. I hope things are better for now, C sections are a journey, my 4th one was one and she was my smallest. Enjoy your baby and so glad your hubby was there. When I was born my dad did not get to stay long, he was in the Navy too. God bless you. Vonnie

- I was gonna wait and move after he went to C school. But his holds have been so long that I am gonna try to move up there onto base housing, fingers crossed we didnt wait to long. I just wanted him to focus on his schooling without being distracted with me. He has to go down and find out what number he is on list to class up so we will see if they will still allow me to go up there or not

How's the little one? Mine's a little tornado inside me still - got an ultrasound tomorrow to check on his measurements and stuff. 4 weeks to go! (Unless he decides to come out early!) When is yours due again?
