Dear Samantha,
How are you doing tonight? That's like when I joke with some moms, with our children in the Navy," we are in the same boat," pardon the pun (Navy=ship) HAHAH!!
I had a nice surprise. About a month after Kim's graduation, I received in the mail, her Navy year book!! I didn't know we got one!! The pictures of the graduates was from a Fall/Winter graduation, the graduates were in Navy blue uniforms. But, the book did have Kim's picture in it, and pictures of her and her Divsion.
SO Constance is going to Florida for A School. What is she going to train for?
This is so exciting, the jobs they learn.
Kim was originally suppose to go to Virginia for A School, but the orders changed and she remained in Chicago.
She called the other night. I was hoping that she was going to tell us she got her orders where she'll be stationed. No such luck!! UGH!!
Once she gets those orders, she can come home for a visit.
Let me get going. Please stay in touch, it's good to hear from you.
Take care and God bless
Barbara.

Dear Samantha,
How are you doing? This Navy for moms is such a blessing.
I am so sorry to hear that you can't make it to Constance graduation.
What a shame. She's going to look breathe taking in her uniform!!
She's a beautiful girl, God bless!!

Where will she be going to A School?
What will she be trained for?

My daughter Kim finished A School, and is waiting to receive her new orders where she'll be stationed.
I just pray it doesn't take too long. I hope she doesn't forget what she just learned!! UGH! She was trained to read the radar and morse code. I know there's more, I just don't remember it!! HAHA!!
She was held captive in Chicago!! HAHA!!

Congratualtions on Constance graduation!!
I hope to hear from you again.
Take care and God bless.
Barbara

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Needed to learn more about it, Was proud, Was relieved, Encouraged him/her
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
That she was going to learn alot and that she was going to be okay. This is something she realy wanted to do.I knew that she would be a even stronger woman when she finish.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made
