Feeling very anxious Jennifer received orders to Afghanistan. The screening process starts this week and ends about Apr 6th, she would leave May 11th. We would be taking our grandson who is 18 months old. Anxious for both of them, going to be hard for them to be separated. Thanks for listening, we are not telling any family until screening is over.

I haven't spoken to my son for a couple of weeks, I thought they might come to port today but I wasn't sure. I hope that's true because I miss talking to him and would love to have an update. We also have a little issue with a Blackberry bill that we need to straighten out. ; ) I don't know if I'll get to see him because I know he is going to try to fly out to see his girlfriend this time. He wasn't able to during his last leave. -janice

Sandy, I've never been given any number to contact him. He has his cell, and I feel that he is not contacting me to not get more homesick than what he is.... Cmas was going to be hard for him, but I know he's made some friends and since they are all in the same 'boat' [no pun intended], that they will all just stick together. Still hard not hearing from him. I just need to hear his voice.. its really putting an added damper on my holiday spirit! Thanks for the concern.

Sandy: I'm glad you had such a good time at the races. Cory is home on leave. He has to be in Virginia on Dec. 7th (his birthday!). We'll be going to Tucson for Thanksgiving, so Cory can see my mom and his aunts, uncles and cousins. We'll leave Monday for Virginia...he wants to take his car, so I'm driving with him. We'll spend Monday night in Flagstaff with my sister...then start the real trip Tues. morning. Have a wonder-filled Thanksgiving....oh. the AZ Group is having a picnic in Tucson on Jan. 24th. Check it out on the Ariz. moms page. Julie
