Ha! Here I was thinking I got the last of my children married off. I was even bold enough to say out loud "at least now they'll stop moving back in and hubby can roam the house in his boxers all he wants!". Silly me. Why did I say such a thing? Just…

I definitely have been working on my physical status. I go to PT with my DEP group weekly and I run every morning and I try to do push-ups and sit-ups every night during commercials on TV. Also I have quite a few workout DVDs from my favorite trainers Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper. If you don't know who they are google them because they are awesome and their work outs really get your blood flowing even my mom does DVD workouts sometimes. My plan for boot camp is to fly under the radar as much as possible just do what I'm told and pray I dont screw up so I hopefully won't get yelled at.

Thank you for all your information. It helps. I was just really worried that I was never going to get time on land. I don't mind the ship part I just don't want to spend my whole Navy Carreer on one because that would probably make me go insane. As of right now I am looking forward to boot camp. I am most worried about leaving all my family and friends and going to a place I've never been full of people I've never met. Also just a little scared about being yelled at, I think I can handle being yelled at but I'm not 100% sure.

Dear Sandy, I saw on the N4M site that you are concerned about the pass ports etc. There is a place on the GW website to click on for family services and there is an email and phone number that you can call. I don't know if they can help or what they know, but maybe they can direct you to someone who can help.

Sandy,
I saw your post on the Japan Moms group. I think the country code for Japan is 81. So you have to dial 011-81 then the number.

I hope that works. Good luck.

Thank you so much for your advise. This is what I was thinking, but we will see. I read your response to her and she said I know, but I want to get married. All I can do is pray that God will lead her.
