Thank you for your reply. Somehow I just knew you would be the one to reply first, you always have such wisdom to share! Ok, so 5 degrees does sound a bit nippy. But, our little cold front is a welcome change. I think one of my fondest memories was…

Ok, here's my question of the day: I finally heard from Ryan (I was beginning to think his computer was stolen). He wants me to send him his acoustic guitar. In fact, he mentioned it 4 times in his email, so he must really want it. Anyway, is he all…

Atsugi, Japan

My son, Ryan, is leaving for Atsugi on November 15th. I'd like to get more involved with this website and would like to find out more about where he'll be (USS George Washington). I think it will help me to feel not-so-far-away from him. Not looking forward to the goodbye, although I am so excited for him and so very proud of him.

Looking for Photo

I had found a photo last year of my son, Ryan, at the Chicago Navy Pier prior to his graduation in November 2008. Now I can't find the photo! It was a group photo of Division 902.
Can anyone help?
Thanks!

Going to graduation in Great Lakes Nov. 26. Heard from Ryan there is a picture on website from Chicago Navy Pier day of USO show that Division 902 recruits performed at. He is in pier picture. Does anyone know how to find it? Thanks! Sandy

Hi Sandy, My son's name is Ryan also. He is on the Geo. Wash. too. He works on the flight deck as a trouble shooter. He is Aviation Support. He has been in Japan almost a year. He couldn't get leave at Christmas, but he will be home for leave in Jan. We miss him so much. It will be so good to have my family whole again. Welcome to the group. I don't know much except how to cry, but there is someone who knows something about most anything here. Best to you and your sailor. Ginger

Sandy, Don't know about Sprint but my husband's phone (AT & T network) works in most countries in the world. Of course, you pay roaming charges but it will be worth it to be able to talk to your son.
