I am the proud mother of QM3 Rebecca. She is a quartermaster stationed aboard the USS KIDD out of San Diego, CA. She has been in for 2 years and I could not be prouder of her. She is my inspiration and my heart.

Was proud
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
To trust God that she will be protected and watched over. That being terrified was a normal reaction to the awesome choice that she made, that above all else, that it was time to let go of her and to trust that her father and I raised her right.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
This was the best decision he/she could have made

She remembers me!!!!

I called Becca the other night and heard Zoey in the background just chattering and squealing away. I miss everyone...

Hey guys, sorry I have not been on lately, work and school are crazy!!! I have a paper due every week and barely have enough time to spend with my husband and sons, let alone anything else. very disappointed

Well, I had set up a meet and greet for Illinois moms to meet today in Galena at the trolley depot. I was very excited and couldn't wait to meet everyone. Six women rsvpd and said they would attend. However, when I got there, no-one showed up. Not a single solitary soul. I felt like such a fool standing outside waiting for these friends to show up. She's gone....

She left yesterday to go home, and I have a lot of mixed emotions about that. I miss her terrible while she is gone, but when she is home, she is so mean and angry, that I can't wait for her to go home, I did not get any pics as to bring out the camera would have incited another bout of her wrath. Oh Sarah. Congratulations! Before you know she'll be walking. My Julie's Conner is starting to motate and walk and I just wish I were there to see it! My other daughter Leah finds out on the 19th what she's having, that'll be HER birthday present. She turns 27. Very fun these grand kids. She's just beautiful and I'm glad Becca is doing great too!
