I have finished my gingerbread decorations for my tree so now I have to move forward and get some gingerbread boy gift tags made. I'm a little obsessive about Christmas but I don't do much for other holidays so I figure it's ok!! TK, I want to see y…

Sarosa, very cute cards! I see lots of stuff to case! Especially the quilt card and embossing. I just love the way you thought out of the box. I've got to get my craft room cleaned and then I can "go to town" with stampin and posting stuff on my blo…

Well, I used to sell in a card shop until a little over a year ago, when it closed. Then this August I got an opportunity to sell at a nearbly college, which specifically wanted foreign language cards (wow, is that an undertaking!). Anyway, that's w…

Barbara, I would love the name of that group as well. I make all kinds of cards to send to the sailors. I make sure to send them blank ones as well. I kind of imagine that it is hard to find birthday, aniversary and general purpose cards in the midd…

I'm very proud of my last-minute self for realizing I need to get my Christmas package out to my son soon! Anything I should know before I start getting stuff? Is my mother's rum-soaked fruitcake going to be problem? ;-)

I just noticed the quote on the banner at the top of the page ... when I first got into cardmaking, I used that for one of the cards I made:

Barbara, I would be interested in knowing the name of the group. I used to belong to a couple of stamping exchange groups and I have lots of blank cards I could donate. Thanks!

Agreeing with all! Definitely military/patriotic themed cards are welcome here, but I imagine sailors and soldiers get a little tired of them! I don't think I've actually made any patriotic ones for my son, and when I get around to making some cards…

Hey Stranger, just checking in to see how things are. Sorry I have not been around this summer. New grand baby is keeping me busy. Hope all is well and I still have my machine if you are still interested. How is your son doing? Talk to you soon. Hugs, Amy

Hi Sarah,
Yes, my husband and I are going to graduation. I do want to meet you and your son.

We live in Hilliard, a suburb of Columbus. I am originally from the Cleveland area, so I do know Mansfield is the half-way point on my way to visit my dad up north.

Do you know if there will be more training before deployment?

Hi Sarah,
Jack passed his test today and once again, mentioned your son help with study sessions. He said that Stephen has an incredible understanding of the material.

When I called Jack last week, he was studying with Stephen and asked if I wanted to talk to him. I did, and thanked him for helping, my son. Stephen said that he likes to help people. Great guy!!!!!

Hi Sarah,

I just wanted to tell you that my son gives me an update about your son all the time. I even knew his assignment before you posted it! Stephan is very well respected by everyone in his class. He seems to be able to explain their subject matter in a way to help others understand during study sessions.

My son will be going to Cuba. I just mailed him a picture of a Cuban Iguana.

Since I am not very computer literate, I do not know how to get some of you moms to be my friend on my page. I would like to share information on our son's new journey.

Hello Sarah, How is everything.
I'm happy to hear that Stephen is getting along great. Jonathan is home for a couple of weeks and it's going to be so hard to let him go.................He's very excited about going to CA, a new adventure. He contacted his sponsor today and he sounded a really nice fellow lol. My daughter and I are already making plans to go and visit him this coming year. Where is Stephen duty station after his school? Keep in touch... Take Care Grazi

Hi, Did you mean leave a message here? I wanted to make sure before I give to much info. Their test is tomorrow morning. Jake took EMT classes when he thought he wanted to be a fireman. When he asked me to pray for him I asked him if I could pray for any of his friends. He said pray for the whole class. He said they are trying to get a Bravo Zulu. Do you know what that is about? Anyhow let me know if this is where you want the info. Have a good night.
