there are supposed to be shuttles going to the airports that day. they need to buy a pass/ticket for the bus they need(timewise). i'm not sure if its' the travel office or another office selling the passes.

I believe there is a bus that goes all or most of the way. If you check with the USO, they will give you the best advice.

Yes!!! My daughter is at GL now waiting on A school to start. Graduation was this past weekend. I am hoping that there is not a long delay. Bootcamp waws so structured and I'm afraid they can get quite relaxed waiting for school to start.

Sailor coming home from GL for the holidays. Need advice on transportation to and from Great Lakes to O'Hare?

Help! I was lucky enough to get decent airfares for my sailor to come home for the holidays.
Can anyone advise the best way to get to and from Great Lakes to Chicago O'hare? I know they
can take the metra into Chicago but would have to change stations to go to O'hare. I thought I read
somewhere that there is a shuttle going to the airports but they are on their own for the transportation
back to base. Anyone know about this and where to tell my sailor to sign up or get more information.
