My name is Shelly I have 2 kids a son that I am so proud of in the US Navy on the USS George Washington CVN-73 he is in Japan his name is John, AM 3 and SRF-B ( security) and Fire Team,and now he is petty officer 3rd class. I have a 23yr old daughter and I am so proud of her as well. My kids are my life

Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Not 2 worry if he hasn't called or e-mail me. Coz he would as soon as he could so I think for me it was 2 learn how to wait and not worry so much.But as any mom knows you still worry.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
