I got a call on Wednesday, after I messaged you, from Andrew that he didn't pass, not to come. We came anyway, because Travelocity wouldn't help us with out tickets. They only wanted to give us back $170.00 for tickets that we paid $710 for. I'll never get tickets there again. Anyhow, it helped us out, because when we got to Detroit to make our connection, we had a voice message from Drew on our cell phone. He passed his PFA and was doing Battle stations Thursday night, graduating Friday! I was so excited, and so glad I didn't cancel my flight! We are currently waiting for him to finish processing his paperwork so we can pick him up for liberty. He is supposed to leave for Groton on Sunday and he needs to finish his paperwork in order to do that. He may even have overnight liberty. Thank God he made it. I think God wanted to see how much I trusted in Him.
He also said Luke passed the PFA on Monday, so he must have graduated, too.
It's too bad you couldn't be here. I'll ask Drew to introduce us to Luke if we see him. Let me know if you hear from him.
I am worried, too, for the same reason as you. I don't want him to get discouraged. Someone has been trying to call me on my cell phone. There were two calls on Monday, and one today. None of them will connect. I keep thinking it might be Drew trying to contact me. I think when they call from pay phones the cals go through fine to cell phones, but when they call from admin. (after a PFA), they can only call land lines. I'm not sure. But the day I got the call from Drew that he didn't pass the run, I also got one of the unknown calls on my cell phone at about the same time. Weird, huh?
We had a major lightning storm last night. It knocked out our phone (digital), cable, and roadrunner. I have been in the dark, so to speak, and it has been driving me nuts!!!!! I am afraid he will try to call the home phone and not be able to get through. Our service has been out for over 12 hours now. I don't know what has happened, or how long it will be out. Will pray for all the boys! It's Drew's birthday today. I woke up with the thought, "Happy Birthday Andrew" on my mind. I am at school cleaning my room, updating cum files, and waiting for an appointment with our principal. Thank God they still have the Internet on here!
