This is a place for those whom have lost a love one in a war. To share their feelings in a safe place. A place for others to come and offer their condolence and support.

Profile Information

About me:
Siren / Vice President of Steel Anchor / Treasurer

Part of the Steel Anchor Organization and wanting to better understand what it takes to be a Sailor, and how I can support those Sailors and Family Members.
I am here to support or represent my:
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Thinking about joining
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Needed to learn more about it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Learning how to support those who are protecting our Country and the sacrifices all including their families make.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hi Siren, didn't realize that you had joined N4Ms. Was accepting Ordy's friend request and saw your name/icon, thought I'd drop in and say "Hi" and thanks for taking an interest in the lives of Sailors and their Navy loved ones. We do very much appreciate the support all of you at Steel Anchor give us everyday! Have a wonderful holiday season and keep up the good work!

Hi and welcome. So glad you are here. I'm sorry it took me so long to get back. I'm visiting my grandkids and got some kind of stomach something. I couldn't eat for 24 hours and even now I'm still a bit queasy. Just what you wanted to know. :) My son is AO and stationed in Lemoore. He will be going out on his first deployment soon. I joined N4M the night that I got his first letter from BC. I am so glad to have Jac and Ordy to help with questions. Have a great Sunday.

Welcome Siren!
I see you joined the AO Group. I started the Group in Nov. last yr. I also have a Group for the USS Enterprise, Oceana VA, and moderate the Group for Sailors in A-school down in Pensacola FL. That is where all the Aviation jobs train, plus the Intelligence jobs. I also answer questions daily on the Boot Camp Moms Group. This Group are the ones most lost!
I joined Navy For Moms in April 2008 and I was member #402, we now have over 20,000 members!
