So I'm waiting on my husband to get orders before he goes to the housing office and my question is... Does anyone know if he'll get his orders before he grad's sub school...I'm so antsy to move lol and veryy impatient!! :)

Yikes! ... my husband called and said he got a good picture of Mike - #1 in the class! Then he called later to say that the camera was in his jacket pocket which accidentally got squashed in the car door! So, I'm not sure if we can get the pictures. We'll see when he gets home tomorrow. Anyway, congrats to Mike.

Oh yes it will be a change for you!! Yes we will have to meet up that would be great!! I don't know anyone out there either cept for my hubby also! I bet he does miss his daddy.. Jesse missed Tristan crawling and really doesnt want to miss him walking... He keeps telling me not to let him walk yet so he can see it!!

Hi there! Jesse graduates sub school Nov. 6 I do believe. We are waiting for him to get his orders so we can put in for base housing. He will be doing FT so will be there for a while. What is your husband doing? Just wish it would go a little faster so we can be with him again! We have an 11 month old son and another one due in Dec. So there's alot going on without him here so it kinda sucks! Will you be moving to Groton then? I was just telling Jesse that I hope to meet some people so it's not too big of a shock for us to move there! We are from North Dakota! So it'll be a little different! I will find the sub wives group and join! thank you

That's exciting that you're moving to Groton.. hopefully I'll get to meet you someday! Wow that is quite a move from California! (it's so nice there.. i used to dream about living in LA - i'm an actress) - So it answer your question, I'm not in Groton right now.. My boyfriend is there (I'm close by, in Massachusetts - 1.5 hour train ride) and will be there for a longgg time.. He's actually going underway for about 6 weeks starting in the beginning of November.. but we have been talking about marriage and would like it to happen sometime in 2010, so I see myself moving to Groton sometime in the next year. I was just curious about what the housing is like, and wondering how many women on here lived there, hoping to have some built-in friends by the time i got there maybe! lol Really, I'm just curious if people like it there or not. Do we'll have to be friends and you can let me know!! -- So what is your story? What is your sailor's name and how long have you been together? How did you meet? How long has he been in the Navy? I look forward to hearing form you soon! :)

He can do it before. There really isn't much to do. We will have to meet up. Let me know what housing you are getting. We are in the Nautilus 1. They are the new townhouses.

thats so cool!!! but my guy, he's great!!! in A school in great lakes. I can't wait for him to come home for thanksgivving !! it's gonna be amazing!!! YAY!! but yeah i totally hear you on the hott weather lol last week it was low 100's and now it's finally cooling down in AZ. i can't wait for winter, that'll be so great and flagstaff in like a 2 hour drive and we can play in the snow YAY!!!
well i better go it's getting late!! TTYL
