Stacy, I'm so very sorry for your loss. My son Jeff swore in with Zac at the Ranger game and you and I had a chance to talk for a little while, we even talked on the phone a few times after Zac left for BC. I don't live very far from you at all and want you to know if you need or want anything please let me know. I'd love to make you dinner.

Thanks to everyone for their kind words and prayers during this difficult time. Zak's funeral was on Fri 12/4 in NJ. He was buried with full honors. I expect to be back in Texas sometime next week and hope to thank each and every one of you personally. Your support means more to me than words can express.

Stacy: You do not know me but my son Michael served with Zak on the USS New York. They were friends and I had the pleasure of meeting your son when he was in NYC for the ship's commissioning. My heart goes out to you and your family on this tragic loss. I would like to send you a condolence card but have been unable to obtain your address due to privacy concerns, which I understand. I would love to share my story of Zak with you so please contact me via email when you can. You and your family are in my prayers. Gwen K.
