Being on hold in Pensacola is nothing new. It was the same last year when my son was there. Everyone is in the same boat, you make the best of it, you have no choice.

I just got off of the phone with my son who is in Pensacola, Florida. He is very disgusted that he has not received his orders after graduating "A" school on Sept. 4th, 2009.

- Class up means to start classes for their training. With some of the A schools there are waiting periods before they actually start classes.

- I have no idea what an ATO is. Since he's new to A school his mail should be adressed to Seaman Burgarin, Alex. My daughter also went to Pensacola but she was at the other base there. Your son is at Pensacola NAS.

We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
