My sailor is leaving Pcola tomorrow to come home and visit mamma.....Yipee. He will be headed to San Diego in January to be stationed on the USS Ronald Reagan. Merry Christmas to all of you, and if you have time with your sailor, have tons of fun.
I got my DVD today too. Funny how we are once again looking for something from the Navy and it's not the "boy in the box" or the "form letter". Nate will be home three months to the day since he left. He arrives late Fri Night. Can't wait. Proud Mom…

Thank you for the information. I sure hope Jordan doesn't leave on Sat. coz I just booked flights for 5 of us to stay till Mon. morning so we can have the weekend with him!! Oh well, if worse comes to worse, we'll just have to eat the change fare and come back earlier. I also need to know ahead of time so that I can change the hotel and car reservations also. The last time I spoke with Jordan he seemed to think he had the whole weekend off! It won't be long, though, till we see them and that's the most important thing. Have a great day -Kathy

Thank you for letting me know. I just read that your son is going out to Pensacola on Saturday after PIR. That means he's a grad n go? What job will he be training for? My son is supposed to go to Pensacola also, training to aviation machinist mate. He hasn't mentioned anything about having to leave on Saturday. I was going to book the flight for coming home on Monday so we could spend the whole weekend with him at GL. Now I am confused!! Thanks for any info.
