About me:
I'm the grandmother but I found this site about a month before my grandson left and find it to be helpful and comforting. My experience with corresponding with the military goes back to WW2, then Korea, Vietnam, and up to
now. My own father was a WW1 pilot.
I am here to support or represent my:
Grandchild

Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
I have other family members already serving and believe it
to be a step of courage and honor.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:

Yes they do get a leave between A school and power school. then another break between power and prototype.

2 of my guys are in SC one in prototype and one in power school at this time. I have one that is in the fleet already so yeah we have been through this a few times let me know if you have questions and I will help you out :)

By all means Sue, we hope you'll join us at Abuelo's! We'd love to have you! As a matter of fact, I'm bringing a close friend who's my daughter's "Almost Step-Mom",meaning my ex hasn't quite married his girlfriend, but she's as much a Navy Mom as we are! The more the merrier!!!

HI Sue Glad to hear that you heard from Casey! That pulling teeth thing they dont mess around about,,, Justin had the teeth coming in side ways!! So they only pulled four in boot camp then one in Power school..... Ugh well hope you get another letter soon they are only able to write on sun if allowed ... Take care
