I am here to support or represent my:
Child/Stepchild
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Enlisted
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Needed to learn more about it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
To remind him there would always be a home to return to, no matter where he was! That we loved and supported him and his choice!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

Hey Susan. Haven't seen you respond to the luncheon on the 12th yet. Are you planning to go? I can stop by and pick you us as usual if you want. Would love to spend the time with you.
Let me know.

good looking boys Susan! hey, I have 3 of the eagle wall hangings now and You mentioned wanting one. Is that still desirable? these are a fundrainser for HAE and the price is $25.00 and I'll pay the shipping.
the woman who made them delivered last night. She was admant about the price as she took even more time on this batch to make stars etc.
Thanks for all you do.

Hi Susan, thanks for checking. I'll look into the VFW angle, but I did see this post, after I asked about who was in contact with her, from a fellow Corpsman mom in Birmingham AL after I messaged you:

"I talk to Florence everyday! Her internet is back on. The last operation she had her heart stopped 4 times. She is very weak and she has only a very small pouch for a stomach. She as not been able to keep anything down for a good while now. She is very worn out for continual vomiting (sorry) her body is just depleted. Plus, the other health factors.

Let's keep her in our prayers. This is an outpatient procedure but, in her case they will keep her overnight. They will show her how to take care of her tube. I do have contact information. I will let you know as I know. I may be going, it is around a 2 hour drive. I will keep all of you posted!!"

Cindy{Jordan's Mom}

So I'll keep you posted as this develops. Hopefully, the Gold Star Chapter she belongs to could provide some help too, if we can figure out who to contact. Just pray for now. THANKS! :-) (((HUGS)))

Hello dearie, how's life? :) Hey, I need your input and maybe some help from the Rescue Sailor crew soon for one of our Gold Star Mothers. She started our Navy Moms of Fallen Heroes Group. Do you have anyone in or near Dallas Georgia? Here's a message I just got from Ordy of Steel Anchor:

"Florence McSween is not doing well and very much in need of prayers right now. Our Cindy (Spitfire) from Steel Anchor.org plans to check in on her at the hospital, but we wanted to get the word out to all of you as quickly as possible. This woman has been through so much and has given so much, so not to allow others to go it alone. I firmly believe we need to get everyone together and quickly. She doesn't even have someone to help her take out her trash! This is not the way a Gold Star Mother and one of our own should have to live." Further info from a fellow Navy Mom was this: "She needs to have a feeding tube put in her small intestines on Tuesday. They will need to stop her pace maker (if I have this all right) in order to do the procedure. (one of our HM Moms who is a GI nurse says this is standard procedure) She has a Do Not Resuscitate order. Please pray for the success of this procedure and that it will help her. Please pray for her strength of will to live!"

So, any thoughts on what our Moms onsite, especially from GA , can do if she needs practical help during recovery, once released from the hospital? Her other three kids stopped talking to her after Adam died. She lives alone. :(

Hope you and Barbara did connect and had a super Moms day out! :-)

I can't believe you go out to walk the dog alone without taking your cell phone! I don't care how nice a neighborhood you live in, you change that pattern woman!! Mom says!
