Hi Susan,
Yes, I did receive the pictures and I thank you so much for sharing them wtih us. I wish we could have been there and would have liked the chance to meet you, too. Did your son get to come home yet for vacation? Hope so.
Looks like they had a nice welcome home up there in Groton. That's Great!

Hi Susan,
No, we were not there for their arrival in CT. I didn't even know they were back until Will called me at 3 pm, that day. He said he was catching a train home that night. What a nice surprise that was! Didn't expect they would let him come home right away. We have been enjoying having him home.
I can imagine how tired you must be. Traveling alone makes me tired and tie in an emotional event = exhaustion. Hope you are having a wonderful time with your son and are well rested. Take care, JoLene

Ok, that's good. Sometimes no news is good news. I am so anxious to see him again. Just been trying to stay busy so time will pass by more quickly, (even though I don't even know when they will return). Talk to you soon.

Hi Susan,
Thanks for getting back to me. Yeah, the military just uses last names. I was in the Army, and it was the same way. Glad the guys know each other. Will really likes and respects the sailors he works with on the Hartford. My email address is: mjmorris1@cox.net.

Hi Susan,
Good timing. Do you mean an update from the Navy or my son? Have not heard any more from the Navy, since the incident.

Hi Susan,
I just now saw your message. Have been busy with work etc. too and have not been on this site much. Still trying to figure out how to use it, also. I'm thankful our sailors are doing fine. I just heard from Will this morning and he sounds well. Feels like he has been gone for years. He is a Seaman Second Class in sub electronics. Will said everyone on the sub knows each other, so I'm confident that he knows your son.
Glad to be in contact with you.

Hi Susan,
Hope you don't mind, I got your name from this site. One of the members told me that you also have a son on the Hartford. My son, Will, is on it too. This recent accident has really scared me and I'm glad to be able to contact someone who probably feels the same way about it. Thankfully our sailors are ok. Would love the hear from you. Thanks, JoLene Morris
