Susan, thank you for your response, and no, you weren't rambling at all. You seem to feel exactly like I do, except my nest isn't quite empty yet. I still have one more 15-year-old son at home. Since Alex became an adult, he is almost like my best friend and not my son, and even though we talk on the phone a lot, I still miss him terribly. Of course, there are disadvantages to being friends. He tells me almost everything, sometimes more than I want to know. See, look who's rambling now. Anyway, thanks for your understanding.

Hi Susan, got a call from Bobby, he told us his good news and moving out west. He did so great in A school, you should be so proud. Jeff got a job, started last week, for now were here, but when he gets assigned a base, then we all will be relocating somewhere, probably within 6 to 9 months. He'll drive back and forth to Indiana on weekends. So it's a beginning. Logan will be back again in Aug. Looking forward to having him home again. take care

Hi Susan, glad you had a great trip, Logan's doing great. He's really busy, studying for tests, doing watch, working out, I think his weeks just fly by. On the weekends he usually has some activity going on, has gone to the beach a few times, took a couple short trips, been on a few dates, so he's doing good. His life is so full I don't think he has much time to miss home, but I think he does, he just dosen't express it, you know how boys are. Our lifes have been somewhat shaken up these last few months, Jeff's job let him go, totally unexpected, so now he is looking for a job, we have been getting the house ready to sell these last few months so if he gets a job somewhere else, we'll be ready to list and move. Soooooo we are having just too much fun here..... Have a great time with Bobby home, tell him we all say hello!! take care and will keep you posted on our happenings!! k

Hi Susan, the pictures are great, everyone looks so good! We had an excellent time, it took us 14 hours to drive out there, I drove ours and Jeff drove Logans, he was sooo happy to have some independence to be able to get in his car and drive go places and not have to pay taxi's and get rides with other sailors. He needs a chance to be able to get away sometimes I think, it's a pretty in tense time for him now in school. We went out to eat a couple time in the historic area, pretty cool, store, restaurants, bars, a college is right there too. The boys like to come down and eat, walk around, and check the hot girls out...lol We also spent a day at Patriots Point, awesome place, Logan showed us what he would be doing when out on the ship, we got to tour a sub, aircraft carriers, coast guard ship, the destroyer was closed, but it was a wonderful day. Logan wore his dress up blues, and the older veterans just loved to see our sailors dressed up in uniform. Updated his phone too, so now he has better reception and I think he just feels so much better, and as he would say, it's all good!!!! You just can't help but feel proud of our boys!!!

Hi Karen,
I talked with Bobby lastnight he had to tell me he got another tatoo, seems to be the thing to do. I dont mind its only ink. We I did get skype set up but Bobby kept having trouble with his laptop, he just had to spend 125.00 to get a virus off. What good is it to have protection if it does not work? These companys dont want to stand behind there products anymore it really p------s me off. Anyway lets definetly keep in touch .I hope you guys have a blast with Logan. If you get a chance go to Folly beach its not to far. How about mexican food somtime? And of course a margarita. Talk to ya soon.

I know what you mean about the holidays, the days just flew, so much to do, spend this day with one family another day with the other family, then the buddies. So, as Logan always says, "it's all good!!". Glad Bobby is doing good, bet he loves the weather. Were Navy mom's, we got to keep in touch to keep up on our boys!! talk to you soon. karen
