Got a hard letter to read yesterday

I got a really hard letter for me to read yesterday. This was my second letter from Zachary it was dated about 6 days ago and it said how hard it was and how he misses being home and can not stop thinking about all of us at home. He wants to sleep on a real mattress and that he has bled, sweat and cried all at the same time. He talks about how they started out with 80 guys and now only have 70 left. I was so upset reading it. Got my first letter today..Yea

I got my first letter today and I was so excited to get it and open it. I cried while I was trying to read it out loud to the other kids. He said it is tough but he will make it through and for me not to worry. He asked for us to please send him letters. I already had three going out since I got his address, hopefully he will get them soon, if he has not already..

The box came on Friday 1/23

Well the box came on Friday 1/23 I was not having such a good day and then when I got home from picking up the kids from school there it was. I stared at it for a while and just could not open it. It toke me about 1 hour before I opened it. I was just crying. Then on Monday the form letter came and I was so excited to get an address for him. I really miss him and can n ot wait to hear his voice. I have been writing to him everyday now and I really hope he is o.k.

Hi Susan, I know exactly how you feel about sharing him when he comes home. My son was just home and it was so hard for me to not shout out "NO!! don't spend time with them AGAIN!!" He was only here for five days- the first time home since Christmas!! Now he won't be back again until Christmas again. Boot camp was bad because we had no contact...then A school was bad because he was homesick and struggling, now he's posted, and seems to have found his groove. I think he's done better with it all than me!! LOL. Hang in there and enjoy this visit!!!!

Hey there Susan! Welcome to the new group... so glad you joined us! Your pictures are awesome! Love the slide show.... I still haven't figured out how to do that... took me forever to figure it out for my myspace page... they make those "... for Dummy's" books for people just like me, hahaha! Where is Zach now and what is his A School for? Josh is in Pensacola, waiting for classes to start for ABH (Aviation Boatswain Mate Aircraft Handler)... he phased up to phase 2 this past week... was excited about that...he thought he might class up this past Monday, but it didn't happen.. originally they told him it could be a month of two before they class up. Enjoy your week... we don't have spring break from school till NEXT week... but I'm SO looking forward to sleeping in. :o) Have a WONDERFUL Easter!!!!! Jules

Thank you for careing about my son and me. It helps knowing I am not alone. When I took my state boards for nursing , I was so scared. But, I was determined to pass. I even reschelduled my test, so I could study more. It was worth the wait. I hope he understands that it is all worth the wait, if he has to wait till next week to graduate. it is so unfair that he will not get to participate in the Graduation ceremmony, if he has to wait. Hi Susan, Well like you, I'm the most anxious person. Bill told me that it would be Wednesday night and it could possible still be. I'm hoping it was last night!!!!! Brenda really made it sound like it was. If what Colt said was correct our boys will be done now! I'll let you know when I get the call. Could you do the same for me? Thank you. He said his Battle Stations was Thursday night. That sure is pushing it, especially with Graduation on Friday the 13 th. I found a FIt group discussion to try and find out more answers. Sometimes, my son gets so upset he gets things confused. I just want to be able to see him this weekend. That way, he will have more of a reason to get stronger and run faster. He didnt even know how to swim when he went in !!!

Hi, My son called . He is in Div 122. he said that battlestations was Thursday night. But, he was crying because he didnt pas his running testand cant take it till Thursday morning. It is all a horrible situation ! He kept saying that he probably wont graduate this week and that He wont have any liberty next week. He was sad and could hardly get any words out .. he is so upset with himself, because he thinks he will not be able to see him and that we cannot attend his graduation. Cathy
