omg...... I can't believe you wrote me today! I was just thinking about you and Mike today! I haven't been on here forever, either. We just got home today from Gulfport MS. this evening. Today was Jake's graduation from 'A' school. We saw the graduation and then drove him home. He will be here 2 weeks and then he will drive his car back with all his stuff. He will then do weapons training for a couple of months and possibly be deployed to Afganistan after that. Time will tell. Glad to hear Mike is doing good and that he and Mckinzie are still together. I tried to post pics of his graduation, but it kept telling me that I had to be a member of N4M's Go figure that! Keep in touch!!!!

Hey! I haven't been on this site for quite some time now. Not sure if you are getting on either. Things are great! Jake was able to come home over the Memorial weekend. It was so good to hold him again!!!!! He graduates from A school in a couple of weeks. Hopefully he'll get to come home after that for a little while. Of course he is still waiting to get his orders. Hope Mike is doing good. Is he still in Pensacola?

I haven't kept up with the groups since after Obadiah's PIR. Thanks for your msg. How is Mike doing in Pensacola? Obadiah will be going to Yokosuka, Japan in June! He has always loved Japan, so he is really looking forward to this new chapter in his life with the navy.
I would love to hear from you and how you all are doing.
I was sorry that I missed you at PIR. We didn't go to the meet and greet, because we were sooo tired. Hope all is well! Drop me a line or two.

Just wanted to say Hi and see how is Mike doing. Isn't it great to be able to talk to them everyday?!!! I still can't wait to be able to go up and visit him. We thought that when he is able to go away with us for the weekend that we would drive over to New Orleans. He's never been there before. It's only a little over an hour drive! And you know... P'cola isn't too far from Gulfport.

Oh my goodness I will say a prayer that he heard those orders incorrectly or that they as many navy orders they can change at the drop of a hat. I know as a mom that those are fearful words but they could come to any of us on any day. Mike is a strong person and will be able to handle whatever comes his way. Hug him as tightly as you can and keep his spirits up, we will all be praying for him!

Today I am packing, hooray!! Our flight leaves at 7:40 am and we need to be at the airport an hour early for check-in. So we'll be up super early.
We are staying at the Navy Lodge. Very much looking forward to seeing you, Susan!

Hi Susan...how r u ? How is ur Sailor? Mine is fine hes been home for 3 weeks and I just love having him home. I wish he could be staitioned state side but he has to serve his overseas time and then can serve state side...he leaves monday for training for his new job and then off overseas this will be the hardest time besides bc he will not have leave for a year so long...:{ we had a nice visit went to new york for a day the whole family...I hope all is well w/u...talk soon Marie

thanks Susan- I am so happy Mike is a Sailor. Got a letter from Jimmy today and he passed the gas chamber has PFA and test 3 to take-he wanted extra study time so he would do well -LOL He is very excited for next weekend...so are we -he wrote again about Mass and is looking forward to us going with him -says that is the only thing he will miss about GL -:)

Susan....Congratulations on your new Sailor! I am being proud with you! I received a letter from Oz today and he has BS on Monday. I can hardly wait to see him. He is very excited to see his girlfriend...lol! Of course! Can't wait to meet you!

Hey Susan, THANK YOU! for making them. I am still confused on who gets the ones with the Navy pins on them. I am not going to fight a grandma or aunt if they want one. I think we will have more than enough for the Navy4moms! I have some made with just ribbon to have for extra's for other family members. We are getting so close now I can hardly wait. Thanks again for making them!

Susan, I'm so sorry, I don't know the answer to that. My son didn't get them, and it was over a year ago he graduated. did you check out the forum for boot camp - and go to search and type in pictures? Sorry I couldn't be of more help on this.

Hi Susan,
I'm learning all the time myself.Even after 3 years there is so much I don't know.
Yes A school is the basics about Jet engines.Such as changing oil.He will also have academics and tests to take just like college or high school.A school is where T got to meet the blue angels.they are based in Pennesacola.T also went to school in Jacksonville.thats where they learned all about the planes.his main job is working on ejection seats and ocasionally he will work on a engine.I know all about the emotions you are feeling right now.
I still have my moments.Especially when I see a soldier in camo.I hug them and tell them thank you.Its my therapy.I feel when I hug them I'm hugging my own sailor.This site is a life saver.
