About me:
My son joined the Navy in March of 08. My daughter, her husband and my grandkids live here in Florida so rather than stay in the frozen tundra of Wisconsin I came here.
My son is currently stationed at Whidbey Island NAS -Oak Harbor, WA

Hi Suzanne, well Wes came home for a week and I just took him to the airport this morning. So Wes, Darius, and Karston are not together anymore. It makes me sad. Wes is in ME right now. Karston will be with your sailor until Aug sometime. It won't be long now and Wes will deploy. So please keep him in your prayers. I'll try to get the pictures loaded on the computer so I can email you the ones we took while in WA. Just wanted to say hello and let you know I was thinking of our sailors. Hope you had a great weekend.

Hi Suzanne, well tomorrow is the big day for me. I can't wait. I hope it all works out. Wes starts school tomorrow so he may end up with a watch while we are there. I'm going to trust the good Lord to work it all out. I'm hoping to get Darius and Karston to go out to eat with us while we are there for Easter. I hope we can all go to church together too. Wes was to invite them for me. I told Wes I was giving Darius a hug for you. It will be so nice to meet him. Wes talks about him and Karston all the time. Did Darius tell you his nickname is Lloyd? You'll have to ask him about it when you talk to him next. They are so funny. I wish the 3 of them were going to stay together but know it's not possible as they have all been assigned to different bases. Well Darius is at his permanent one but Wes and Karston will be moving else where. Hope I can take some pictures to share with you. Hope you have a blessed Easter. Best Wishes, Lorraine

Hi Suzanne, I'll be in Whidbey on April 8th. About 2 weeks from now. I can't wait. Last word I had I think Darius is bringing Wes to Oak Harbor to get me. The Shuttle drops off at a gas station some where in Oak Harbor. I already warned Wes that I was giving Darius a hug for you. When did you see him last? I seen Wes at Christmas and that seems like forever ago. I plan on taking my camera so I can take lots of pictures.

Hi Suzanne, I'm not sure how to send you an email from my NFM account. Wes emailed me the picture of your son and Karston another friend of there's. I also have a piture of Wes and Karston. Hi, my son is also stationed at Whidbey Island. He talks about your son when we chat on the phone. My son is Wes. I just recently joined NFM. I was looking at the members page when I came across your name. Wes has a picture of your son that he emailed to me when they were at Deception Pass, so I asked Wes if he knew where you were from and he said Florida so then I knew you were Darius' mom. Wes is an AE. I'm glad for the opportunity to chat with another mom who has a son at Whidbey Island.

We are so glad that you are here! This is a great place to meet others that know exactly how you feel!
We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.

Please tell us about your sailor and what they have chosen to do in the navy and ohh yeah we LOVE pictures of everyone !!
