@Birdy - oh no! That's about how Jake's day went, only on my way home from taking him, he called to tell me he'd left his dog tags! Needless to say, I raced home and grabbed them, taking them back to him and getting one last kiss! :D

About me:
Jake and I have been married for 4 and a half wonderful, fun-filled years. We are the proud parents to the cutest little, tow-headed, energetic, big-eyed boys: Beckham Jacob [02.05.06] & Holden Stanley [10.14.08]. Jake is a CS on the USS John C. Stennis here in Bremerton, Washington. We love our new home and are just about settled in and unpacked after being here for 2 weeks.

When I heard “Navy,” I:
Needed to learn more about it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Be positive! If you don't have a good attitude, you'll never be happy!
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

What wonderful pictures! I can tell you are a great Navy wife. I hope my son marries someone like you and not some high-maintenance-clingy-helpless etc etc.

Hi Sydney,
It's good to hear from you. We have been thinking of you and Jake and the family. Sam is doing very well. He should receive the package I sent him today. It contains his laptop and phone. It will be nice to communicate with him on a regular basis. He has called several times. He is sharing a room with Zac. He really likes P'Cola. Before Sam left for BC, I prayed that he would meet the right kind of friends. That prayer was answered beyond belief. Jake is such a good friend. A friend that is very rare in life. I'm so glad that the Navy brought them together. Sam misses him so much. Kim and I are not on facebook, but feel free to email me anytime at ken.brwr@gmail.com. Tell jakes family Kim and I said hi.
God bless

Hi, congrats on your recent PIR - love your pics! Our's is 9/3. Was looking at the Flanagan's meet & greet flyer - did you design this or did Flanagan's make it for you? It's nice! Also, where were they distributed? Thanks in advance!

Hi, Syd! Thank you for your "A School" policies and restrictions posting in the discussions. I was wondering where you found the items that you quoted. My daughter's boyfriend is currently at P'cola on hold after graduating A school. I help by getting as much information as I can to pass along to him.. and also to remind him of things he has access to.
Thank you again... Cyndie

Pass in review will be amazing! I'm sure you are so excited! It was wonderful to see my husband after the long, lonely weeks of boot camp. I felt so spoiled to talk to him every day after he graduated. What is your husband's rate?
