Hello, I'm not a Navy mom but a Navy girlfriend...My boyfriend is a Sailor!!! He left for A school on the Sept. 2nd, and started his classes on Oct. 7th... cant wait to see him again... :)

From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
For my boyfriend, I believe it is giving him the ability to go out and do something for himself, responsibility and strength. And the distance is surely making our relationship stronger.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

well thats good Im glad the balls rolling for you guys. Eric left yesterday to head to Washington when he gets there he will check in and do paperwork for housing and when he gets a place he will come back to get me! they said it could take 3-6 months so when ever he gets word that its final I will start packing.

Aww thanks girl! And thats awesome that you get to see him im sure its much needed vacation for you both. what is his rank in his class? they can pick where they go if they are in the top mumbers in the class they get to pick first. I wish him the best. And yeah I know washington its going to be a big change! But I'm ready for it!

Thanksgiving was good I went to McAllen with Eric to meet his family and I was really scared at first because when we first got together like almost 2 years ago his parents gave him stuff cause I am black so I had to put up with that crap and I figured that the rest of his family was like that so I really didnt want to go but it turned out really nice. We are getting stationed in Whidbey Island Washington the weather is nothing like Texas and it snows all the time but I have heard that the island is beautiful I've looked it up online and it really looks nice. Right now we are in the process of finding a house so that I can go be with him shortly after he gets there, how are you and David doing? Does he get to come back for Christmas?
