About me:
ABOUT MY FAMILY
I am very proud of both my sons ages 22 and 11. I have been married to the same man for 24 years, and still love the dude. I am very family oriented and love my friends on N4M (You know who you are). I have been on this site when there were just 200 members. Boy has a lot changed. My Navy Mom "sisters" have been there for me and have supported me and made me laugh and laugh.
I have been told that I have a good sense of humor. I do like to laugh a lot.

Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
Cell phones are good, and don't send fish in the mail. I have also learned that I love watching my son grow into adulthood.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.
The Beast played Santa this year for our family Christmas Eve Celebration. Since he is a good actor, we figured he could handle it. We told the little kids (who are all cousins) that Santa had been working out. Sailor Santa is has 24 1st cousins, ages 29 - 1.


This is Sailor Santa and Lil Bro - I'm so glad he was able to make it home.

I have remodeled

After a year and some months of the same N4M's page, I decided to remodel. Since I am doing the 3 day 60 mile breast cancer walk, I really think the pink color is appropriate.

Hi My long lost FRIENDS!!!
My class is over, and I am so happy to be done. I have taken a lot of classes, and consider my self fairly smart, and this one was really a challenge. I guess those things that don't kill you make you stronger. Thank you all for your kind words and friendship. I promise not to whine next quarter when I take Managerial Finiance (yuck).

I miss my Navy Mom Friends

Hi Friends,
I wanted to let all my Navy mom friends know that I am not ignoring you, and I miss you all. I am taking Managerial Accounting for my MBA program, and it is KICKING MY BUTT. I have been spending 4-5 hours a night studying after work. I have no life, and am feeling pretty darn sorry about it. I just took the mid term and barely passed. I have never worked so hard for a C.
I will be back, and I miss you all

T - nothing drastic with me. Just had dental surgery Monday. Mouth seems to be healing well - just having problems with nausea. Thought it was the pain pills but haven't taken any since yesterday morning at 6 but still dealing with the nausea. Oh well, this too shall pass.

Hope you and yours are well. Coronado was a trip! I walked 5 hours all over the island taking pictures. Next day, a million steps on the Midway and next day 5 hours at Seaworld. My legs felt like concrete but I felt great! Then all that walking all over Balboa and Gaslamp. Nope, didn't lose any... drag.

Hi. Was visiting here to see how everyone was doing and thought I'd see how things are going with your family and The Beast. My Christa arived home safe yesterday. Scared and tired with a really bad cold. She has slept thru the night and I'm making good old chicken soup. A big pot to warm and heal a bit of the soul. Your son should be home soon for July 4th? Wish your family lived closer to us here in Vegas. We are giving here and the rest of the Nevada Seabees a huge pool party. We have been planning for weeks. Would sure love to have your family here.
