Yes - my son was there. It was a great experience for him to see there are some politicians who actually care about their school!

Tammy did you and/or your son get to go to Harrisburg to visit the capitol? On channel 16 I saw where the students had gone to Harrisburg to plea with Gov Rendell. Best of luch to you. Kathy

I am thrilled to let everyone know that TJ has officially completed his C school and is back home. He will report to his reserve unit on Monday.

I am the mother of two sons TJ who is my sailor and Douglas who is 17. I work in a Federal Recreation Area as a Park Ranger. TJ is an IS Reservist.

Hi Tammy! it is Rene, from the IS group! Haven't seen you on the group for awhile. I was just wondering how TJ is doing in C school? Still liking it? Jared graduated A school and is now on hold until the 30th waiting for C school. He keeps saying that C school is incredibly difficult from what others say, and he is a bit nervous. What does TJ say about it?

Also, just a thought, although petitions, the governor's office hearing a phone call or an email is something to get his attention, when you do this make sure that email goes to his education aide. Tyler knows sign language, when he was 13, his little bud Nick is deaf in CA... Madonna

Say it isn't so! Walmart has gobbled up America. Do you go down to Wellsboro? It was so quaint back then...tree lined streets, etc. I think we had dinner in an old building (maybe a court building) that was converted into a restaurant.

Have you always lived in the area? I'm sure it's much more built up now. In '75, there was one movie theater, one motel w/restaurant (The Dutch Pantry), and one fastfood place (Burger Boy) on Main St.

I haven't been out your way since 1987. When I was at Mansfield State, Tioga-Hammond was just being constructed! That was in 1974-1975. This is making me feel old!!!!!

I have camped in Hills Creek State Park and took the kids to Tioga-Hammond for the day while we were camping. I've also been to the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania a few times. Beautiful country! Do you work at any of these?
