When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
The awesome change in my children.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made
ALWAYS CHERISH THE TIME YOU HAVE WITH YOUR CHILDREN, BECAUSE ONE DAY YOU WILL TURN AROUND AND THEY WILL ALL BE GROWN UP AND GONE. NEVER TAKE THAT TIME FOR GRANTED! TIME GOES BY SO FAST. ENJOY THEM WHILE YOU CAN AND WHEN THEY DO LEAVE HOME YOU WILL HAVE ALL THE MEMORIES TO HOLD ON TO. I LOVE MY KIDS! AND I AM SO PROUD OF THEM!

Hi Tammy! My son Jason is on the USS Memphis also. Thanks for the update when they are leaving. My son is so hard to talk on the phone with, so all I got from him about when the next time they were going out was "in about a month." Maybe he thinks he is not allowed to tell me??

Hi Tammy, My name is Karen. Are you going to PIR on Friday? My plane does't land till 8:15 pm on Thurs so I don't think we"ll make Flanagans. We'll see, it would be wonderful to meet everyone. Matt is staying in the GL for another 8 weeks more or less too. He is going into the PRE-BUD program. Where are you staying? We are at the Navy Lodge. When are you coming in and when are you leaving? I just can,t wait to see my son, its been along 71/2 weeks! This is just going to be amazing!!!!!!!!!! Hope to see you there, Karen
