I am worried about that also, Jeannie. This Christmas is going to be so very hard without Chris. I hpoe to hear when A school starts. I'm hoping that he will get a bit of time here....

Chris goes in on Monday @ 3:00.... It has been a very emotoinal week. I arraigned vacation time and am so very thankful that work was cool with that.

Only 13 days left before Chris reports.. wow! This time is just flying! I cut his hair night befor last and have a nice long wig making donation for Locks of Love.
I'm proud that he decided to donate it. He does look older without the hair. (wink!)…
Oh, my stars, Nancy! That's too bad about the car but I'm happy that you and your family are O.K..

Oh, and my DEPer leaves on the 18 of August.
At 1:30 today there were STILL up to 2 foot piles of hail at the drains and low places.
All we got here at Chatfield and Wadsworth were a few sprinkles and saw the lightning to the North. LOTS of lighting!

Been waaaaay oo long for me as well... I had only 3 afgans under my belt, but it has been years! LOL!

We have something for everyone here groups from boot camp moms to overseas moms and moms that like to scrap book. We have meet and greets to events that the moms set up to meet each other and have dinner or an outing. There are groups to help you with each and every step of this wonderful adventure that our children have chosen called the US Navy.
