Profile Information

About me:
I'm very proud of my Navy son't accomplishments and can't wait to see him graduate from boot camp Aug 21, 2009! Chicago, here we come!
I am here to support or represent my:
Son/Daughter
Stage of (Sailor’s) Navy Career?
Waiting to leave for Boot Camp
When I heard “Navy,” I:
Was proud and encouraged it
From my experience with the Navy, the most important thing I learned was:
When our older daughter was in the Navy I felt like she was in good hands. We had raised her to be the person she was, and they put the finishing "polish" on her! She was in the Navy for eight wonderful years, and now has a civilian job working on a base. I think of the Navy as extended family.
Through this Navy experience, I now believe:
It was positive and maturing. Our relationship has grown stronger.

I hope it works into your schedule Tedy. It is so much fun to meet other Navy parents face to face and we have a great time packing boxes, talking and eating together. Seeing Nick graduate HAS to be your priority there is nothing more important. Even it you find you can come the morning of the 29th show up, we don't stand on ceremony. Take Care

Tedy~~welcome aboard, we are glad you are here. You will find answers to your questions, support, and encouragement, as well as friendships. Thanks for your friendship. Please thank your son/daughter for choosing to serve our country. I wish him/her blessings, success and happiness throughout his/her navy path. I am sure you feel so very proud. My son is in A school. He graduates soon, then on to C school. He is signed as a CTT-SN. We miss him dearly, but are proud of his choosing to serve. What will your son be doing with the Navy? If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. I'm glad you joined and look forward to hearing more about you & your Recruit.. Come join our group: Allstates Unity Navy4Moms/Dads/Family/Friends 2009, for encouragement, inspiration, support, friendships, and understanding of your feelings. We'd love to have you as a member. We look forward to sharing with you. We have veteran moms there that love to help new moms. We hope to see you there. Have a great evening/week.

Welcome Aboard Tedy,

Come on over and join the Colorado group. It a great place to meet new friends and receive support. Here is an upcoming event you might be interested in, it would give you the opportunity to meet other Colorado parents.

Here is the information I put out on the Colorado Love Box Party. Sure hope you can join us.

It's time for all of us to get together again. We are going to meet Saturday, August 29. I placed a discussion out there a while back, but with summer and busy schedules there weren’t too many responses. With that in mind, I am going to invite all who are interested to my home and we’ll BBQ and pack boxes and just catch up on our Sailors. I don’t know that I have all of the Colorado Moms on my email, so please feel free to pass this along to any on your friends list. As always the more the merrier. My address is 12165 W. 85th Avenue Arvada, CO 80005 303-463-8912 (home) 303-982-0590 (work). Please go to the event page and RSVP if you are coming.

Molly’s Adopt-A-Sailors have adopted the USS CROMMELIN. The USS Crommelin is a frigate and the home to 252 of our sailors. They are based out of Hawaii and are currently on deployment. There are 250 males and 2 females aboard.
And, not only are they happy about us adopting them, they are ecstatic!
They will be half-way through deployment about mid-September, so we are going to help them celebrate with a HAWAIIAN LUAU. Let’s show our Colorado Love.

Check out Molly’s Adopt-A-Sailor site for more details. The discussion link is August 09.

Hope to see lots of your smiling faces 
